LINDA STASI and VERONICA'S VEIL

These images appeared on the Coast to Coast AM web site on the evening of January 15th, 2012 as Linda Staci was a guest discussing the Veil of Veronica. 

The 6th Station of the Cross; Veronica, a woman married to a Roman soldier, pressed her veil to the face of Jesus.  This is also the name of Linda's book, which is a novel (fiction), though she did research the veil for 6 years. In her novel she brings up the issue of DNA.  Could DNA be taken from the Shroud or the Veil?

Stasi visited the house of the Virgin Mary in Turkey as well as the Monastery in Manoppello, Italy monestary in Italy and she says she was told the story was made up but the veil exists.  Recognized by the 

Pope as a holy relic, Stasi says it is fine fabric and appears see-through, and has no dyes.  The images changed as she photographed it.  That was the mystical part. A priest fainted when he saw that in one image there was teeth in the smile and the pupils appeared up.  Unlike the Shroud of Turin which is a negative image, this is a positive image.  Put them together, and they form a 3d face!  The full interview, which we will not post here, is available on the link, or on YouTube.

FACE OF JESUS ON LEAD CODICES?

The 70 ring-bound copper and lead codices, found by an Israeli Bedouin in a cave in Jordan in about 2008, have previously been dismissed as forgeries.

But scientists from the Nodus Ion Beam Centre at the University of Surrey in Guildford have been examining the age of the lead. The corrosion on the plates has also been tested.

While they cannot state for certain they are from the earliest Christian era itself, the scientists admit they could be genuine. The tablets say that Jesus did not intended to start a new religion but simply restore traditional Judaism as it was 1,000 years previously during the time of King David. They also say he regarded his God as both male and female.

A press release issued by the Ion Beam Centre quotes Dr Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury and now Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge. Williams calls for "a fresh examination of the Jordan Codices" in response to the test results.
