We open-mindedly read this book, without first reading reviews, and then learned that the book is (predictably) thrown into "conspiracy theories" and "controversy" by it's detractors, mostly those who do not want to consider that it's possible that the historical person Jesus actually did marry and have children. Such theories are often thought to be attacks on main stream Christianity and in particular the Catholic Church.
